Инициатива за компютърна грамотност
Ние от СИБАЛ считаме, че налагането и подпомагане на въвеждането на информационните и комуникационните технологии в образованието е от първостепенна важност за нашите деца и тяхното бъдеще, особено в глобалния сват, в който всички ние живеем. За целта е необходимо модернизиране на цялостната образователна система и подобряване на качеството на образованието така, че всички ученици да бъдат изцяло подготвени за информационното общество чрез постигане на компютърна и информационна грамотност. Това може да се случи единствено чрез по-близко сътрудничество между всички заинтересовани страни - учители, професионални организации и институции, определящи политиката в образованието на местно, регионално, национално и международно ниво, бизнеса, както и НПО сектора.
Въпреки положените до момента усилия от страна на държавата, все още има региони и училища в България, които изпитват трудности за постигането на поставените пред тях цели в тази насока. Причините за това както винаги са липса на средства. Учителите и директорите им правят всичко по силите си да подготвят информационно учениците си, но при липсата на адекватна техника това е почти загубена кауза. Повечето от тези училища са в слабо развитите региони на страната и учениците там са предимно от ромската общност. Ние считаме, че произхода на тези деца не е причина те да не получават равен старт в образованието, по подобие на връстниците им от големите областни градове. Компютърната и информационна грамотност би им предоставила много повече възможности за последваща реализация в обществото. А тяхната реализация е най-сигурният начин за просперитета на местно, регионално и национално ниво. Според Евростат, 33% от българите никога не са ползвали Интернет (2016 г.). Ние искаме тази статистика да се промени. Именно по тази причина СИБАЛ стартира инициатива за осигуряване на подходяща компютърна техника за малките училища в по-слабо развитите икономически региони в България. Компютърната грамотност на децата ни трябва да е един от основните ни приоритети.
Много големи фирми бракуват сравнително нови и модерни компютри, които биха били от полза на тези училища и техните ученици. Естествено, ще се радваме ако успеем да осигурим и чисто нови конфигурации за по-доброто образование на децата. В този смисъл всяка подкрепа на тази инициатива ще е от полза.
