Russia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Sergey Lavrov, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of October, Bosnia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed to N1 on Wednesday.
Lavrov should arrive in the country on October 27 and will meet with the three members of Bosnia’s Presidency, Sefik Dzaferovic, Milorad Dodik and Zeljko Komsic, as well as with Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Foreign Affairs Minister, Bisera Turkovic.
The Russian minister visited Bosnia more than two years ago and met with the three members of the country’s Presidency at the time, Bakir Izetbegovic, Mladen Ivanic and Dragan Covic, as well as with representatives of the country’s Serb-majority Republika Srpska (RS) entity.
During that visit, Lavrov said that Moscow advocates the implementation of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement.
