Defense Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Wednesday that the Serbian military will be getting new radar systems next year.
Speaking during a visit to the military radar station at Stari Banovci outside Belgrade, Stefanovic said that the new systems would provide much better coverage of Serbian airspace.
According to the minister, the new radars will upgrade both airspace control and the Air Force and AA defenses. His visit included a tour of the S-600 and AN/TPS-70 radars deployed in Stari Banovci.
