Thanks to Bosnian Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik, the BiH Diaspora was invigorated and on January 10, 2022, Bosnians from all over the world will take to the streets in protest against the crisis in the country, Satko Mujagic, the organizer of earlier protests of Bosnia’s diaspora across the world, told N1 Wednesday.
Mujagic submitted a criminal complaint to the BiH Prosecution against Milorad Dodik for hate speech.
Yesterday I was at the Prosecution giving a statement in connection with my complaint. In August, Dodik said Bosniaks are submissive people without any character. That's a crime. Freedom of speech is one thing, but these are insults against an entire people. I’ve always said that not all Serbs are criminals and not all Bosniaks are stupid, and that’s final,” Mujagic said, adding that he hopes things would change and there will be no need for the Protests scheduled for January 10th in Brussels and other cities across the world.
He then compared Belgium to Bosnia, saying it is horrible that hundreds of thousands of Bosnians are leaving the country.
“People get educated at the expense of the state, they invest their capacity and knowledge, only to not be able to stay in the country – this must change immediately. Belgium has existed for over 200 years and sometimes they’re unable to form a government for over a year, but the country still functions well. I’ll give you another example, the mayor of Rotterdam – his name is Abu Talib, London’s mayor is Khan – do you think he was elected legitimately by Pakistanis in London. He was elected by the people who recognized their mutual values in him, not the type of name he has,” Mujagic told N1.
He added that he respects the opinion and will of the Croat people, but the talk about the legitimate representation is a call for the creation of tribal communities in the 21st century. He noted that liberal democracy means one man – one vote, noting that he does not want Bosnian Serbs or Croats to feel bad in any way in this country.
