Serbia’s central election commission (RIK) adopted a report on the final results of the April 3 presidential elections on Monday.
The report says that incumbent President Aleksandar Vucic won 582,224,914 votes or 59 percent of the vote, confirming the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader’s election victory.
It said that a total of 3,811,585 people turned out to vote. The RIK determined the total number of eligible voters in Serbia at 6,739,441.
The RIK also accepted an appeal by the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), United Serbia (JS) and Greens Serbia over a ruling by the municipal election commission in the southern town of Bujanovac where the vote will be repeated at one polling station.
