Vucic: Jeremic demeaning Serbia

December 11, 2019

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that opposition People’s Party leader Vuk Jeremic was demeaning Serbia by saying that Kosovo Albanian political leader Albin Kurti was everything that Vucic is not.

Speaking on N1 TV’s Pressing talk show, Jeremic said that Kurti, the leader of the Vetevendosje (Self-Determination) movement and most likely next prime minister of Kosovo, was “stable, patriotic, an intellectual, the opposite of Vucic”.

Vucic added that Jeremic wanted to say that Serbia would do much better in the talks with Pristina if he represented Belgrade. Jeremic is a former Serbian Foreign Minister and President of the UN General Assembly. “We say how Serbia did when those geniuses led it, when Kosovo declared independence,” Vucic told the pro-regime TV Pink.
