Western Balkan countries all report new coronavirus cases, first death in Serbia

The countries of the Western Balkans all reported new confirmed coronavirus cases on Friday.

Later on Friday, Serbia reported 135 infected people and the first death case confirmed.

The authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina registered the total to 89, while neighbouring Croatia’s Health Minister Vili Beros said there were 128 people infected. 

North Macedonia has reported the total of  70 cases, according to Health Care Minister Venko Filipce, while the head of the Montenegrin Public Health Institute Boban Mugosa reported that the country’s total went up to 13. Kosovo declared 24 confirmed cases.

Slovenia reported the most significant number of cases to date. That country has confirmed coronavirus infection in 341 people and one death while Albania reported 70 confirmed cases and two deaths.
