Croatia heads for fresh elections

A month following Croatia’s legislative elections on November 8th, Zagreb is bracing for a second round. According to a recent poll, only 28% of the electorate want fresh election, that now seems unavoidable. According to Croatia’s Constitution, unless a government is formed within 60 days after elections, the President must call for new elections. A government is not likely to emerge.
